I’ve always loved reading fantasy stories, but somewhere along the way I realized something important: the things I love most about fantasy novels aren’t dragons, magic systems, or epic battles. It’s the sense of childlike wonder that is missing in our normal, boring, often stressful adult lives.

I love the feeling that an amazing adventure might be waiting just beyond the next hill. The belief that ordinary people can become heroes. The idea that life can be filled with beauty, mystery, and intriguing quests. For a long time, I thought those things only existed in the books I read. Now I spend my time proving otherwise.
